It’s either that or one of their federal prosecutors will arrest the OH SoS on some absurd charge. “Obstructing the President’s re-election by applying irrelevant laws that we only use on Republicans”.

A distinct possibility, but don’t discount Democrat-controlled swing states suddenly inventing a law (whether it’s passed by the legislature or not) in an attempt to keep TRUMP off the ballot in a tit-for-tat maneuver.
E.g. “Any candidate currently standing trial is not eligible....” or “Any candidate who has been convicted of....” They already tried something like that in the primary, and courts shot it down. But that was just for the PRIMARY election.
Swing states whose election offices are under total Democrat control include Arizona (with its ultra-corrupt SOS), North Carolina, Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Swing states whose election offices are under Democrat control in all but name include Pennsylvania and Georgia (both of them have Trump-hating, conservative-hating RINO SOS’s).
Suing will not print enough ballots by Nov 5.
