Nuland is a terrible person. And like all neocons, she just loves more war.
But I DON’T think she’s calling for the US to bomb Russian targets. Instead, she’s calling for the US to allow Ukraine to hit those targets.
Not that it makes a whole lot of difference. It’s an escalation either way.
Disclaimer: I don’t have a dog in this fight. There are no honorable leaders on either side. But there will be one if Trump wins this November. That could be the only hope to solve this mess.
By giving Ukraine long range missiles the US gave their approval. The Russians aren’t stupid.
The current admin is playing the weasel game and will not ever openly “allow” Ukraine to use the missiles to hit Russia.
If Ukraine does it anyway, the Biden regime can say “we never authorized it, so don’t attack us”.
