Each one of the blades costs a million, total windmill replacement between $4M and $6M each.
Greenfield, Iowa...town is half gone, multiple fatalities..
The way I see it, they put these things out where they are out of the way & then Mother Nature comes along. I am told the concrete bases still stand & they don’t remove them if a windmill goes out. Too expensive I guess. I am assuming that part of the construction of these is subsidized by taxpayers.
When they start producing (if they do) then why isn’t the taxpayer reimbursed? Don’t tell me that he is as a result of lower rates because I have trouble believing that. It is past high time that this “green energy” business is retired.
Windmills, like EV’s, are a nonexistent solution to a nonexistent problem, at the taxpayers expense.
