I spent enough of my life cruising the seas. I’m taking an Alaska cruise later this year (my first on a ship that isn’t painted gray), but I’m not really a cruiser. If they stopped several days in each port to see the sights, I might be more interested. But what’s the point of pulling into Athens, Rome, Nice, Tokyo, or any other port for 12 hours?
My sister on the other hand is a cruise fanatic. Several a year and typically 3-8 weeks. She has an around the world cruise coming next year. Cruising is her thing. Maybe the Alaska cruise will change my outlook.
Could always take a cruise up river to kill Superman’s father like John Kerry.
