"Change of state of residence, bring along DeSantis. That would be pretty unifying"

Oh sure, bring along the toad who ran on your coattails hoping you'd get locked up to clear the way for him.

Agreed. And I’m sure Texas has its beautiful vistas, but all in all, people don’t move there for the scenery or the weather. California and Florida have more to offer in that regard, IMO, as does Hawaii, Colorado and a number of other states. But Texas is one of the few states, along with Florida, that doesn’t have state income tax, and they’ve done a good job of of expanding their corporate economy beyond just energy.

AT the rate things are going:

Texas could secede & Trump could be President there for another 2 terms-—or more.

Kind of better be the plan. It would be rather tragic to hurt Florida’s feelings for no good reason.

No talk of library yet. Typically they start the planning by now.

The big problem with his crowd-pleasing statement is that he lived in NYC and retired in FL.

Doesn’t seem very retired to me. In fact, he wants to work a job that is pretty much 7/24/360. Maybe he’s talking when he REALLY retires. Yes it was crowd pleasing...That’s Trump.

Trump could move to TX now and select DeSantis of FL for his Veep

I am not promoting DeS over anyone else Trump might want but DeS has been doing a pretty good job as FL governor and he can campaign well

better selections? maybe... ??

I live in Florida but like to travel to places that have better climates in the spring and fall.

Southern California in early May is nice.

DC is nice in April and May.

we checked the weather reports in all 254 Texas counties

ALL HOT in Summers, not one cool spot in the entire place

still a winner of a state imho. but it is hot
