Garfield only looks like a cat. He’s really a metaphor for a teenager.

Well, I wouldn’t call it lasagna, but I’ve been making my enchiladas casserole style for decades- rolling them is just way too much of a pain.

I’d never use salsa- too wet. I prefer Las Palmas sauce, cooked down just a bit; it’s too watery out of the can. Try boiled shredded chicken breast for a nice flavor. Also green onions and black olives

Longest palindrome I know...

Ziti. It’s just lasagna without all the layering.

Put all ingredients in the Instant Pot. Don’t bother with layers, it gets all mixed up in your mouth anyways.

That frozen ravioli hack is very convenient. I do it often.

Maybe you can disguise the taste of eggplant. But the sponge consistency is the forever.

Sometimes I don’t pre-cook the noodles. Just layer them as normal, add more liquid in the dish, and cover with foil. The noodles cook during the baking.

I often have heard of this but never have done it. Does it make much difference?

My wife says (IIRC) that carrot cooked with the onions cuts the acidity of the tomatoes a bit. I note that I do not need prisolecs (sp) with my sauce, other tomato stuff usually do.

I dunno, but been making my sauce the same way for a few years now and stick to what works for us.

Prilosec anti-acid pills.

Help me continue my love affair with spicy foods.
