It took a long time, and I still have moments. At one point I felt like a pipe was lodged in my head... and that was probably due to the inflammation of the brain. That cleared up, but the anxiety and depression continued. I tried meditation, which helped, and slowly tried to reset my nervous system. I tried fasting too and that helped. You want to purge the body of the spike protein. They have found the spike protein still in the body after 16 months in some people. So if you can get rid of it, that’s great. I think it is a slow process and I have found myself getting better but slowly. There is also Bromelain and NAC which was suggested to help reduce the effects of Long Covid. Most of the stuff I found on Youtube. All the best to you!

Thank you for your kind words.

It was a little over two years ago that I caught Covid, then about nineteen months since the Long Covid took hold.

It's still a battle, though I think I'm better than when it first hit me. When that happened, I was lucky if I could remain awake for more than 8-9 hours a day. Of course the sleep meds had a lot to do with that, that's why finally getting off those drugs, while at the same time getting the insomnia under control is so important. If I can rest and fall asleep naturally, it is hoped that will be a major hurdle overcome. But I have a couple of months for my body to sort out the new nightly routine to determine if I've finally beat it. Baby steps, baby steps.
