The 2 best overall vehicles I’ve ever owned have both been Toyotas.....one being an ‘09 Tacoma.

My wife’s last three cars: Highlander, Highlander, Lexus GX460. First Highlander went to her daughter. Her daughter still has the second Highlander. Not one repair ever.

My brother is on his second Tacoma.

I have owned a 1988 Toyota 4WD single cab truck.

In 1999 I bought a 4WD Tacoma extended cab. I sold the 1988 for $2995.

In 2012 I bought a Tacoma V6 4WD Double cab long bed. I sold my 1999 back to Toyota of North America for Kelly Blue Book Full Retail x 1.5.(about $14.5K)

The 2012 just turned 110K. Best vehicle I have ever owned. I may never sell it.

I have two Japanese vehicles.
Toyota Sequoia and an Acura RDX.
Both are very well built vehicles.

I have an ‘09 Tacoma. Being from Michigan, I resisted Japanese cars for decades, but now I see what people were raving about. It just goes and goes. It will probably last me until I have to stop driving, for whatever reason.
