I need neither keto nor Ozempic, and I’m sure I have no more faith in conventional medicine than you do. My question was directed at you always seeming to have a criticism of every study but never offering a solution - in spite of teasing about your book(s) in virtually every post.

You don’t have to write a book in order to share your insights on FR along with your critiques.

I looked it up - not as pricey as I would have imagined. I’ll have to give it a try - thanks.

My comment on keto & ozempic was sarcasm. I HAVE shared my insights, sometimes detailed. It's a significant investment of my meager time to go down that bunny hole one post subject at a time - topics analogous to 2 feet away - especially considering that I've expended thousands of hours in research, notes and writing and possess the 10-mile-high view. Frankly, sometimes it's a chore, but I try. The problem is that like a puzzle, it's useless information without the ENTIRE puzzle (I literally have a chapter describing that aspect).

I truly grasp the concept that asserts a person who understands a topic should be able to explain it simply.

The problem, visually: The image below represents 1, 2 or even 3 comments on a general health matter to someone who doesn't know the full picture

I was trained to process both visually and via composition, but I learned that ultimately I have the ability to 'see' solutions before I fully understand them. My book began as merely an exercise in composition to figure out my own health problems; suddenly I realized it could be a book and help others (that became another thousand hours invested...and that was just the beginning).

I don't intend to 'tease'; my injection of opinion on health matters is my own attempt to motivate a return to the >10-year project spanning 4 volumes, 250k words and >1000 references.

I do apologize for the hit & run snarky comments on some health posts from time to time, but many of them literally prompt a physical reaction (eye roll, smh, and sometimes guttural epithets at the garbage the researchers posit somehow benefits: 100 different 'diets', a thousand different supplements and a million different opinions...ON TOP of what I waded through for research. It's truly nauseating; snark is my release).

Thanks. I’m trying. I’ve encountered the frustration of others suffering undiagnosed or persistent maladies and experienced it myself.

Irony: I might have finished the book had I not been a diligent little worker during the plandemic…

dfw: I watched your Dr. Berg video linked in Comment #7 with interest. He described 3 groups of mice, all feed with alcohol, and a different fat with the alcohol—lard (pork fat), tallow (beef fat), and corn oil. The negatives for corn oil were very high. Then he said to avoid all seed oils, like cotton seed, canola, etc. which were typically extracted with a chemical process. He did not mention small specialty seed oils like sesame, or grape seed, which may be cold pressed or not extracted with noxoius chemicals as they are purchased by a more health conscious crowd. I would like to know more about other oil seeds like sunflower, pumpkin, and peanut, when not prepared with chemicals. He also gave recommendations on several meats, especially suggesting grass fed, or grass finished meats as more healthy and containing fewer potentially harmful elements by percentages. I encourage you to look at this video.

My early interest in health began as I watched my mother suffer with ugly vericose veins and open ulcers on the inside of her ankles. When I was 15 she had her veins stripped and was hospitalized while I stayed home from school and babysat for 4 days. I swore then I would never let myself get in her condition. My first baby was born at my age 31, and pink veins began to show up on my legs which began hurting late in the day. I refused to let myself be a martyr by working when in pain and lay down or put my feet up around 8 pm. Fortunately, I soon encountered Adelle Davis’s book Let’s Eat Right to Keep Fit, and by following her suggestions on supplements, in one month could stand up and work until midnight without leg pain.

I also needed an hour or 2 less sleep and began reading everything I could find about natural/nutriional health. This was in 1970 and after 2 years I had run out of popular health oriented books to read—about 1,000 hours of study. I had been a science major in college, but lacked key courses like organic chemistry to get much into hard science reading material. If I had been a person with stamina and money, I would probably have become a doctor. I had worked as a laboratory technician, so knew how to skim the professional literature for studies of interest. This came in very handy when Covid, and cancer entered my life space in 2020.

Over the years as various health issues affected me or my loved ones, I added supplements and modified our diets as I gained new information. I thus overcame back pain, repiratory allergies, and hypoglycemia. As I grew older, I encountered more supplements, many newer on the market or recognized for value, which continued to improve my health. Sometimes I decided I now needed a higher or lower dose of one or more supplements. Some work in the mental health area also was good for my overall health and wellbeing. I even ended up teach a 25 hour, ten session course in adult education titled “Nutrition for Health and Happiness.”

Now with the Internet, I have advised people with a named health problem to Google “Nutrition and supplements to Help _______________. Fill in back ache, heart disease, diabetes, immunity, etc. When the doctor told me I would soon need surgery for my cataracts, which are incurable, I thought NO!! and immediately with Google’s help found 3 or 4 supplements I was NOT taking, or had not even heard of. So I added some like Bilberry, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin, and Blueberry/Eyebright. I feel my bright light sensitivity has improved about 70% over 3 years. I just had my eyes examined for my local government’s required annual cataract check, I asked my doctor if she could recommend every 2 years, rather than an annual check. After she had examined my eyes, she agreed to write in the change on the form.

Unfortunately I was pressured to take Covid shots, I chose J&J, if I wanted to have Thanksgiving Dinner with family in 2020. I was already angry with Fauci for leaving out virus stopper ZINC during his TV discussions with Trump about possible low cost useful Covid treatments in early April, which had been included in the same type of discussions in late March 2020. These discussions had been influenced by Dr. Zelenko’s letter, cc to President Trump and Chief of Staff, Meadows, dated 3/23/2020. I was horrified, but not shocked when Fauci later that spring told people Vitamins D and C were not helpful for improving immune health. I felt even worse when he announced a Covid study of “low cost medications HCQ and Azithromycin on hospitalized veterans. Dr. Zelenko had recommended VERY EARLY treatment of probable symptoms, using his 3 part protocol of Zinc, HCQ, and AZithromycin. Thus Fauci’s proposal of a Covid study in hospitalized patients and omitting the virus stopper ZINC was a plan to FAIL. Why was I NOT surprised when a few months later he was avidly promoting $3,000 a treatment drug, Remdesivir, produced by a company that was soon facing a class action lawsuit regarding some other drugs for unethical behavior leading to serious health injury in their customers? In late 2020, Fauci was finally forced, based on other studies, to agree that Vitamin D3 was probably a useful immune supplement.

While some experts had been disturbed regarding the rush job to get vaccines out to the public, Covid shots which came available in 2021, were soon being given far and wide, and even made a requirement for many jobs. Then people began reporting disturbing symptoms at rates higher than the early testing had suggested. These included serious heart and cancer issues. For me the most important study was the one regarding the IgG 1 thru 4 portion of the immune system. It appears that when subjects in this small study were first tested IgG4 was less than 1% of the total IgG system. After several Covid shots and some weeks later IgG4 was around 20% of the IgG system, and for some participants around 50%. These latter subjects were the ones who caught Covid. IgG2 which helps fight illness had almost completely disappeared at the same point. Apparently IgG4 becomes indifferent to allergens when people get repeated allergy shots, unfortunately it also seems to become indifferent to Covid infections.

TO DATE, I HAVE SEEN NO INFORMATION ABOUT A MUCH LARGER STUDY PLANNED TO STUDY THESE DISTURBING FINDINGS!!

In the fall of 2022, my brother was fighting metastatic liver cancer successfully. Spring 2023 he happily reported his liver cancers were shrinking and the doctors were talking about removing some of them. He also happily reported he had just taken his 4th Covid booster. My heart sank. I had just read the IgG information and not yet shared it with him. Two weeks later he was very sick, on much stronger chemo, and on the glide path to impending death.

Since my partner and my son were also dealing with cancer, I was doing a lot of on-line research. One study reported that very little Zinc was found in the cancer tissue of 9 common cancers, even though it could be normal or abundant in surrounding normal tissue. The scientists were enthusiastic about the use of supplemental zinc, and even proposed using an IONOPHORE to help get zinc into virus infected cancer cells. This was late spring 2020. I did not know about the ionophore they mentioned, but I did know that HCQ was an ionophore, and Quercetin, Resviratrol and others existed. By fall 2020, they were seriously less enthusiasic and subdued in their additional writings. Did Fauci tell them to STFU to protect his Remdesivir? I had immediately told my 3 cancer patients to add zinc and quercetin to their supplements.

I mentioned taking Astaxanthine for my cataracts. I also read that this supplement caused a speed up in the natural cell death (apoptosis) of cancer cells, while it helped normal cells live longer. Is this how it helps my cataract tissue? I immediately had sent my brother both zinc and astaxantin, and had my partner taking them as well. My partner and son are now in good health according to their doctors.

PLEASE URGE ANYONE WHO HAS APPROPRIATE INFLUENCE TO GET LARGE STUDIES STARTED ON THE IgG4 ISSUE. I believe the Covid shots really are killing people in a number of cases.

Regarding the first part (the 2nd concerning COVID), I recently discovered the potential benefits of fermented foods as it relates to mitochondria & CoQ10.

Regarding COVID, though “less effective”, I believe J&J was the lesser evil.

Thanks for posting.

I applaud your process and congratulate you on reported success on multiple fronts. In my experience - key phrase - fewer than 1-in-100 possess such acumen (innate), and fewer than 1-in-1000 are able to solve such a puzzle (which requires a particularly rare gift I believe that we share).

I missed dfgator’s video and have never heard of Dr. Berg. Ironically, his information is quite common knowledge...if you were a so-called ‘tin-hat health warrior’ of the prior century. I gleaned his knowledge through thousands of hours of research and a ‘bit’ of deduction on my own part.

Your story reads similar to my own, while simultaneously differing in many ways. Though I have critics - not unfounded, but misinformed - the last title of my book was literally “How to Achieve a Healing State” (it is now something else entirely, having only later discovered naturopathy which, ironically, was no help at all to my situation). Your post reinforces that concept immeasurably, but it also reinforces a facet of why I withheld publishing:

Most people need help and are incapable of making such a journey without literally playing ‘whack-a-mole’...an inherently dangerous - but understandable - endeavor. I’ve elaborated prior: My own processes which brought health change for me could have been deadly. I was ignorant, yet desperate; I am conscious of others’ desperation, which is why I repeatedly recommend seeking out a knowledgeable Naturopath to guide them, local or online.

There is ONE decent Naturopath in my area, and I only encountered him as a result of our Toastmasters group...AFTER I had regained my health and written the 2nd of 3 drafts of my books. He reinforced many of my positions on the matter, but he proved simultaneously disappointing: He harbored zero curiosity of details of my condition or my process, proving yet another of my hypotheses. *Sigh*. Part of what I hoped to accomplish with the 3rd rewrite and - hopefully - finally publishing was to begin uniting naturopathy in a way seemingly alien to the practice to-date.

I encourage everyone to support naturopathy where possible and abandon MDs when it is not unhealthful to do so. Only together may we collectively change the trajectory of health in this country...a battle which hasn’t even yet begun: We are SURVIVORS despite the threat environment.

[One aspect few seem able to grasp is that we exist in a manmade environment seemingly designed to harm our health; a key facet to a person’s individual health solution lies within that statement (as you yourself have discovered and, ironically, repeatedly parroted within this forum).]

I think when I finally publish, you’ll take great interest, but you don’t need me. Bravo! (and thanks for some key points of sharing which I’ll be exploring later)

Unfortunately, the IgG and Covid vaccine study I mentioned only obtained sujects with Phizer and Moderna Covid vaccinations. In a much larger study, it would be valuable to also include J&J as well as other vaccines in use worldwide.

In my already long Comment #49, I did not want to add more comments of possible importance and interest. Herein are a few besides naturopaths.

I discovered Chiropracters and Osteopathic Physicians as a result of sciatic leg pain. Several strong Chiro adjustments were very helpful. Later I learned that many people have a pelvis that is NOT level, and simple gentle adjustments, less intense than some Chiro work, can be safely applied by any intelligent person. This either by the sufferer themselves, or by a partner or friend. I have helped and taught a number of people this blessed method of sciatic relief which also lead me to Osteopathy.

A client with emotional problems and mild scoliosis seemed like a good candidate for an Osteopathic Physician. We went to see an OP, he did hands on adjustments while I watched, and then took the client back to my office to process the emotional issues that might have been engendered. One time I commented on a pimple that did not seem to want to heal. The doctor suggested some “professional courtesy”, and manipulated my skull for “locked head plates.” I wanted to cry like an infant during the manipulation, and the pimple healed in a few days. I discovered that Osteopaths attending births make adjustments to both the mother’s pelvis and baby’s skull to prevent future issues. I presume they also make useful adjustments to other body parts.

A very large part of my life, not mentioned previously was my discovery of Primal “Scream” Therapy by reading Arthur Janov’s book. I realized it could help me and found a local practitioner to join their therapy group. The many hours I have spent learning therapeutic diet and nutrition, as well as discharging large amounts of psychic detritis, has rendered me a strong, healthy 85 year old, despite my early years as a relatively illness prone child. Hopefully, I will be able to find the time and energy to write and publish some subjects of general interest, before my inevitable end.
