Not too bad so far in southern AZ. Only three days over 100 at our place, and yesterday it barely hit 90.
Bourke, in his book ON THE BORDER WITH CROOK said the weather in Tuscon often got above, and stayed well over 120 degrees all summer long. That was in the early 1870s. 150 years ago.
When I lived in Tucson, many years ago now, 100 degree days in May were common.
