Agreed. Now think of it like this: When speaking of an internal combustion engine, one can measure piston travel by the number of feet per second (FPS) that the piston moves in and out of the cylinder.

In Stormy's case, that would be ponderous to do in FPS because you'd have to measure that "in and out" motion in light years per second.
