History has a way of painting some people in a better light. We forget that he was a Jew hater who was pivotal at bringing us to this point in regards to the Middle East. I guess it has much to do with his Habitat for Humanity work, which was a PR campaign.
He also brought in the Saul Alinsky crowd to our government. His entire cabinet had “Rules For Radicals” distributed amongst them.
That's a lie. Carter is responsible for affecting the Israel-Egyptian peace accord, which stands to this day. Yes, Carter was opposed to Israel's occupation of the West Bank but only an Uncle Leo would characterize that as hating Jews.
Congress is attempting to pass an anti-Semitic hate Bill which will make it a crime to criticize Jews. This would be unconstitutional. Read the 1st amendment. Carter may have had views on Israel that many Jews dislike but that doesn't make him a Jew hater.
Not history, but the people who write history will paint Jimmy Carter in a much better light than he has earned.
I agree. That and his breaking the longstanding tradition of not of meddling and criticizing his successors convinced me that "Jimmah" is not a good man.
