NYC’s Mayor Adams scratched his head in disbelief: “Here we have a large body of people in our city, our country, who have navigated the treacherous waters of the Rio Grande. They are excellent swimmers and we also need lifeguards — the only obstacle is that we won’t give them the right to work to become a lifeguard,” the mayor ended disconsolately.
