It’s far more than a ‘few villages’ and some woods. That’s Ukrainian style misinformation. I recall the Ukrainian military being driven out of a city into the bordering woods, and then claiming it was their intention to ‘surround the Russians’ from that position in the woods. It would be hilarious, if only it didn’t involve pointless blood shed.
