Using that scoring system, what was the result of Vietnam?

or for that matter every conflict since WWII that see’s the US’ relative might vs the world greater than ever at this moment.

At the end of the day, world communism found itself stronger and we were weaker. All of what had been French IndoChina was controlled by communist governments.

But don’t misunderstand my original comment. Russia ended World War II much stronger and influential on the world stage than it was before the war, as was the U.S.

Russia paid for that with the blood of 10s of millions of deaths and the destruction of the western part of the nation. It’s interesting that the USSR was fine with Germany’s expansion and aggression and with the UK fighting Germany alone—until Hitler invaded them. They were never our ‘friend’; we were just fighting a common enemy.
