When we learned of RFK's brain worm, many of us remembered or tried to remember one of the best horror segments ever done on television, here it is, "The Caterpillar" is an odd name since it was about an Earwig, but it was a "Night Gallery" segment and is considered possibly the greatest horror TV episode ever.

Here is the episode on DailyMotion. https://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x5zoj5

...with 20 minutes of advertisements.

Dusted off the remote and rabbit ears last weekend. One commercial was that long.

This episode has stuck with a lot of people for 50 years.

And I'm one of them! I've only seen it once, and the memory still scares me.

I also got freaked out. I tried to go to sleep after watching it at age 10, but felt itching in my ear. I convinced myself that I had a bug that would eat my brain, and finally woke up my parents. I will never forget the look on my dad’s face when I burst into their room crying about an earwig.
