Remember when Sean Penn played in that Vietnamese War movie where they savaged and killed some poor little Vietnamese girl?

Can’t think of the name. Michael Fox played another main part. It had a lot of anti-American propaganda. I asked an ex-uncle who was there about that sort of thing like the Mai Lai massacre. He said sure there were some bad GIs here and there but the enemy was much worse. He said US forces found mass graves with 10 THOUSAND people murdered by the Vietcong and NVA.

Sure don’t see many movies coming out of Hollywood about that. The one exception being “The Killing Fields” I can think of.

Movie is Casualties of War...It came out in 1989...

Heaven & Earth...It came out in 1993...It was directed by Oliver Stone...The film was based on an autobiography of a Vietnamese woman...She was tortured by South Vietnamese troops...She was mistreated by Vietcong also...She was raped by a Vietcong soldier...I actually read her book a long time ago...
