This guy should have read the rental agreement
The guy won a refund (eventually) due to his rental agreement. The car's battery was at 96% when he picked it up, and registered 96% when he returned it. The glitch was that some Hertz employee clicked the wrong checkboxes when the car was returned, and Hertz management wouldn't investigate until the guy's squawks reached the web for all of us to see. And now he's got his $277 back and will never rent from Hertz again.
