1. Rupert Murdoch exercises little to no day to day input on the operations of Fox News, Wall Street Journal or the NY Post. They did not and do not need Rupert Murdoch to have the opinions they have.
2. The Wall Street Journal can be divided, editorially, between the news pages and the “Opinion” section. The sale of the Dow Jones properties - which includes the wall Street Journal - kept the opinion page of the Wall Street Journal in the hands of the previous owners. It remains more Conservative than the rest of the WSJ.

Don’t blame Murdoch for the fact that Greene didn’t have the votes to elect anyone to the right of Johnson.
Johnson didn’t “pass the aid package”.
He brought up a House version to be voted on.
Failing that, the Senate version would have been brought up with a discharge petition and would have passed easily. Probably, that lousy Senate border bill would have been added back on. Lose doubly on the border...
