But in the minds of the swing voters, he’s essentially a Trump clone. So there’s no synergy there.
Sure, the base would love it. But Trump would lose bigly because Vance doesn’t attract any new voters.
Vance may be the greatest VP once he’s elected. But if he doesn’t get elected, it doesn’t matter how great he is or how popular he is with the base.
NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING else matters about the VP choice but this: How many voters will he/she attract from the middle?
Ignore EVERYTHING ELSE.
I don't think the VP choice is going to make that much of a difference to voters. Trump is going to soundly beat resident Biden. It needs to be someone the Deep State fears for Trump to be safe.
