To: Red Badger

Interesting article. There are some tomatoes already out there-they’ve been out there for a number of years- that are a dark red, or maybe purple. They are not small like cherry tomato varieties, but they aren’t what I would call “full size”, either. We have bought them them a number of times, and eaten them with no ill effects. They are quite tasty. A little more expensive than an average tomato, I guess- they come pre-packaged in a cardboard tube wrapped in cellophane.
I can’t remember what they are, but I’ll be looking for them in the produce section.

I’ve grown the Cherokee Purple Heirloom Tomato and it tastes fantastic.
