Denver sucks? They are the reigning NBA champion. They were tied for the best record in the West, a better record (not by much) that the Timberwolves, and they have a player likely to be named MVP of the league tomorrow. In what way do they suck, and I guess the Timberwolves suck more?
Since Minnesota won Game 1, they figured the worst they would get is a split in Denver, which still would have them in good shape. They went out and kicked their butts anyway.
As a Jazz fan I had to get that dig in there. I’m joking. The Jazz do suck and it always bothered me that they gave up a 3 time defensive player of the year, now 4.
My wife had 5 kids and I took a few days off work all 5 times. 99.9% of people do, even the women!
In fact my oldest was born on my first day at a new job. Luckily I had negotiated 2 paid days off that didn’t count against my 2 weeks of vacation.
The Nuggets do not suck and I am a big Niclola Djokic fan. But they have looked anemic in two home games and have not even been competitive. I don't see how they climb out of this... and yes, the Timberwolves are for real.
