Wonder in what kind of neighborhood children play around dumpsters.
If there are dumpsters nearby, kids will play in them no matter what “kind” of neighborhood.
Heck, we used to. I remember we even regarded one as a “fort”. Remember those old storm drains that were a long open rectangle in curbs...and usually had a manhole cover on top of them? (I haven’t seen one in years, maybe they still have them?)
We found that we were small enough to squeeze through the rectangular opening, and there were iron rungs that probably went down six or eight feet, with a drain pipe going under the road to empty into the Philippine jungle on the other side.
We made that our “fort” for a while!
