If you don’t want perpetual war you have to play to win. What if we had refused to cross the Rhine, after rolling back German gains from 1940, and the Nazis reconstituted themselves, only this time with nuclear weapons?
That’s exactly how we are playing this game. Smash them, crush them, humiliate and impoverish them, until they learn to behave like decent human beings.
That will not happen unless we eliminate the underlying indecent ideology, and no one is talking about that.
We basically eradicated Naziism from Germany.
Fascism from Italy.
Japanese Militarism from Japan.
You’re not allowed to talk about the evil ideology that prevents them from becoming decent human beings.
