God also gave man meat to eat. Matter of fact, it was required of some of their feasts, like Passover.

Who knew God was trying to hurt them?

Again, the original issue i was responding to was did God create us to eat meat. The answer is no. THat is obvious in Genesis. AFter the fall, and the flood of Noah, he gave man permission to eat clean meats that he identified. And this was before any Jew was around too. Noah was told what animals to enter the ark and they were by clean and unclean.

After the fall, we do see certain ceremonial acts required to symbolize the plan of salvation. Such as Passover. And I think we can hardly consider these ceremonial acts to be daily diet.

God rained down manna , bread from heaven but the children of Israel wanted flesh foods. God wasnt happy, so he gave them so much meat, it came out of their nostrils.

It was never in God’s plan for us to kill any of his creatures and eat them. But after the fall, he did give us permission to eat meat if we wanted to.

But we can’t improve on God and in Genesis we see perfection including a perfect diet. Red Meat is tied to colon cancer and animal products too. cheese is so unhealthy, it’s unfit for human consumption.

I trust God and I read the Bible and keep everything in context.
