You find yourself on a murder trial jury with the death penalty hanging in the balance and I suspect you may change your view of jury duty. Thats a heavy weight when your actually in the middle of it....just my 2 cent....and then some.I served on a kidnapping/murder trial a couple of years ago.
It reinforced my opinion that we need smart people on the juries, if for no other reason than to exercise the Founding Father's reason for including them in the criminal justice system:
To judge, not only the facts of the case, but also the law and the application of it.
