Growing up we always had iced tea (all year), but on hot summer days, when Dad needed a bigger jolt of caffeine, he’d get iced coffee instead. I’ve never cared for it myself, but it got the job done for him when he wanted to stay focused for long drives.
I would take a pinch of coffee grounds and chew on them to get the caffeine.
