Former President Donald Trump came down hard on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a new interview with Time, criticizing him directly for the October 7 terrorist attack and indirectly for Israel’s presentation of its war against Hamas in the days since.
Asked if he thought it was time for Netanyahu “to go,” Trump did not come to his old ally’s defense.
“Well, I had a bad experience with Bibi. And it had to do with [Qasem] Soleimani, because as you probably know by now, he dropped out just before the attack,” replied Trump. “And I said, ‘What’s that all about?’ Because that was going to be a joint and all of a sudden, we were told that Israel was not doing it. And I was not happy about that. That was something I never forgot. And it showed me something. I would say that what happened on—the October 7 should have never happened.” “It happened on his watch,” observed the former president’s interlocutor.
“No, it happened on his watch. And I think it’s had a profound impact on him, despite everything. Because people said that shouldn’t have happened. They have the most sophisticated equipment. They had—everything was there to stop that,” said Trump. “And a lot of people knew about it, you know, thousands and thousands of people knew about it, but Israel didn’t know about it, and I think he’s being blamed for that very strongly, being blamed. And now you have the hostage situation—”
Shortly after that, Trump was asked if he thought he “could work better” with Benny Gantz, one of Netanyahu’s political rivals.
“I think Benny Gantz is good, but I’m not prepared to say that. I haven’t spoken to him about it. But you have some very good people that I’ve gotten to know in Israel that could do a good job,” said Trump. “And I will say this, Bibi Netanyahu rightfully has been criticized for what took place on October 7.”
Trump also said that “Israel has done one thing very badly: public relations.”
“I don’t think that the Israel Defense Fund or any other group should be sending out pictures every night of buildings falling down and being bombed with possibly people in those buildings every single night, which is what they do,” he added.
The Father in your tagline is the GOD of Israel, vand he has an 3ternal Covenant with them.
I go by Romans 9 to 11.
It is BIBIs fault, and there is no way once this war is over he won’t pay a price for not taking the threat seriously.
For now he’s the war leader, but I guarantee once the war is over he will be forced out over Oct 7. History is clear on how these things turn out.
It seems like Bibi has been around forever. He was Israel’s UN representative back in the 80s and became a regular on US News programs in that post. I suspect he has used up most of his nine lives by now.
He's on borrowed time, even Biden might outlast him in office.
Be on the alert.
The Me First types are stalking these threads, taking notes and monetizing posts ..........

I’m 100 percent America First always Go jilo8n your fellow travelers on the Campuses, burning American fFlags.
Change your tagline. Your fruit isall rotten, I don’t think you know HIM at all.
I’m a million times the American you could ever dream of being. My Granfather was almost killed at the Battle of the Buldge. DON’T YOU EVER question how much I love my Country first again, ok.
Wonder if Netanyahu made some type of deal with Biden that area has been very quiet?.
I said this the minute it was revealed the government was alerted to 10/7 but decided it wasn’t a credible threat and did nothing.
Right now Israel is at war and will support BIBI and his administration through the execution of the war.. but once it is over and the dust I has settled he will be removed, and very unceremoniously most likely.
Just like Churchill was tossed aside after WWII was over.
You don’t get to stay in power when it’s know you had knowledge about a pending attack, and did not take it seriously and did nothing about it.. and then said attack actually occurs.
He will be supported through the execution of the war, but once it’s over and the focus shifts to why it all happened, and you government was shown to have knowledge of it and dismissed it and did nothing… you can’t survive that. Not even BIBI can survive that one.

If the war ends in Gaza today, Bibi will be out of power tomorrow. If the war ends in 6 months from now, he'll be in power that much longer.
Israel might get a more Right Wing PM.
Maybe. But the population in Tel Aviv is very liberal.
Tel Aviv is out voted. The Orthodox, black Kews, and Russian Jews all vote Lukuid.

...Back in 2013, the IDF chief of staff romulgated a multi-year plan for the Israeli military called “Teuzah” (prowess or fearlessness). That plan accepted a significant decrease in overall funding to the IDF and shifted priorities away from the ground forces in favor of air force and cyber capabilities, intelligence, special operations forces, and stand-off precision fire. This came atop a cut of 25% in the ground forces budget between 2002 and 2006.
The IDF chief of staff at the time was Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz...
...Obviously, Gantz and his predecessors and successors (Shaul Mofaz, Dan Halutz, Moshe Yaalon, Gabi Ashkenazi, Gadi Eisenkot, and Aviv Kohavi) – all of whom were party to this grand conceptual error to one degree or another – were dead wrong...
Sorry. 10/7 was not the result of policy changes in 2013z
Senior military and intelligence were obsessed with helping Kaplan Force and the Institute for National Security Studies overthrow Netanyahu, neglecting their first responsibilities. Haliva basically acknowledged his guilt within a day or so. None of the rest seem to have shame.
Underequipped and underprepared ground forces were certainly the result of long-term neglect. That’s what will take down Netanyahu.
“Benjamin Netanyahu is the epicenter of the deep state in Israel.”
You may be right. But I have a hard time believing that Mossad did not know what Hamas was prepping for. How do you execute an operation of that size without telegraphing it pretty clearly. If that’s the case, why didn’t Mossad warn Bibi? Maybe they want him out.
