I remember the early 90s when there were Congressional hearings over the lyrics in rap music. You had people like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, even Tupac in the crosshairs of the feds for the language that eventually brought about the warning labels that went on CDs.

It took ~30 years, one generation, and here we are with rap “artists” singing about things that used to be considered taboo in the public square. Imagine what they’ll accomplish in the next 30?

I believe that “rap” is one of the most destructive forces present in our society

It is being used by Satan the Enemy - witness the thugs, the language, the themes....

If one simply listens objectively to what is being said - between BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

Someone posted a video here many months ago - showed a bunch of rappers with some young boy being alongside their trash

What a thing to do to a young child - I don’t remember what group / song it was - just that it was 3-5 guys and a young black child - he appeared to be maybe 7-8 years old

Filling his young mind with garbage - sad and wrong
