Except that “conservatives” keep sending their kids off to be thoroughly indoctrinated in government indoctrination camps, and just to be sure of that success in losing their kids they add a healthy dollop of mainstream media, “entertainment” media, and leftist/DEI/woke corporate messaging in their kids lives. Until that stops the country will keep sliding hard to the left, just as it has been doing for decades.
That’s only part of it.
Conservatism involves rules, regiments, discipline etc....it takes an effort.
Liberalism is liberty. It takes no effort at all.
The offspring of liberals will not suddenly find conservatism.
The offspring of conservatives not only can suddenly find but are often yearning for more liberty.
