Indeed, this will not end well.
It will end with all of these ships sitting in dry docks (of which we do not have enough) as skilled shipbuilders fix all the mistakes.
Good gig for those guys. They'll be making tons of bank. Meanwhile, taxpayers get screwed, and most importantly, Sailors and their families get screwed as deployments on seaworthy ships are extended to fill the gaps. And these ships get broken down even more because they don't get the yard time they need!
The do a lot of shipwork in Yemen, so look out.
