You lost all credibility with this statement. No hunter wants a dog who will eat the bird he just shot. A hunting dog is not going to go after birds ( chickens). A pointer will indicate where the birds are in the field. A retriever will gently pick up the bird with a “soft” mouth that does not damage it to bring it back to the hunter.
I am not a hunter, my husband is. I have two hunting labs. I know about soft mouth. I do know my dogs did not naturally learn how to hunt and be obedient .We sent our dogs to a three month hunting boarding facility to learn how to hunt. They were stupid puppies before that ( and one of them still is) in which they put everything into their mouths. Dead birds, rocks, geese shit. It’s no surprise to me an untrained dog would go after a chicken. They have a strong prey drive, thats why they are used for hunting.To think shooting a dog is acceptable after the dog killed some chickens (when there were other options )is reprehensible. What is even worse is bragging about it in a book, does she think we are going to think, wow, what a woman! She is a strong no nonsense woman that we can trust to be VP.! Nope, she showed us that she is easily angered, lacks impulse control , and basically is heartless. Do I want her as VP, if Trump dies her finger is on the nuke button.No. Do I want her in a cabinet position? No, the Dems will salivate interrogating her about killing her dog.What Kristi is good at, is cheating on her husband.
