Late to the AI game. It is still a huge cash cow, raking in $10+ billion a month in revenue. Blew a fortune on those metaverse helmet thingamabobs and now realize they need AI for all kinds of future developments. But most of the talent in that field has been employed by the many major players already deep in the field, so they will have to spend dearly to recruit and train.
In other news, Zuck is trying to be “politically neutral” going forward and is causing a lot of angst among hard core leftists. Not sure where that is going for Meta, whether its a PR thing or sincere change of heart. I mean, the dude blew $400 million on elections in 2020. He’s not personally neutral but maybe as a business decision he sees some writings on the walls.
I have not posted on Facebook for 6 years. Nor have I posted on any of the other social media sites. Not even Twitter or Truth Social. I don’t think my personal life is anyone’s business, nor is getting into arguments with brain dead liberals.
