I don’t know the answer to your question. Since there is no background check or registration of a magazine, I don’t see how California would know what happened in Nevada. I don’t see how California would have jurisdiction, but California is crazy so I don’t know what they might try.

Stories a few years ago during one of Calif repressions of agents staking out Nevada gun shops and then stopping Calif residents returning if seen buying something like magazines.

Having spies to watch for residents taking advantage of a free state for later prosecution is not surprising.
