That he might be the first successful human/whatever hybrid and people pledge their loyalty to it in hopes of signing up for the procedure as well and being *immortal*.

I believe it’s plausible that the capital-A Antichrist could be transhuman. (There are a lot of little-a antichrists in the world already, so says John.)
To the population at large the accomplishments of a transhuman might be considered “signs and wonders”, another characteristic of the Antichrist. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

I have thought for awhile now, the mark of the beast, is a DNA upgrade, that makes them less than 100% human, and therefore, no longer eligible for salvation. Remember, the Bible says death will flee from them. It might be related. You gotta admit, this is all pretty weird, but………
