Obama was adopted by his mother’s Indonesian husband. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship. However, the US isn’t concerned with what other countries citizenship laws are, and Obama was not an adult when the adoption took place. This brings us to his college papers which have never been examined. If he applied for foreign aid based on his Indonesian citizenship, then he was old enough at that point to be responsible for which country he owed allegiance to.
Although his birth certificate was always murky, his college applications seem murkier, since those aren’t usually something that would prevent someone from running for president. It’s likely he was born in Hawaii, but his birth certificate should’ve been amended to show his adoption into a foreign citizenship, which is possibly why we don’t get to see any of the real documents.
I think he was lying to people in college telling them he was born in Kenya to look cool.
