You’re assigning far too much political importance to Ukraine. Only hard-core libs and hard-core paleo-cons pay that much attention. Trump is neither, and should he win, I think you will be very surprised at the “deal” Trump offers Putin. His initial negotiating position would probably be, GTFO of Ukraine.
