What utter nonsense. There are plenty of conservative Republicans who support Ukraine against Russia. When has allowing Russian aggression become a conservative or Republican virtue?

The US was aggressive since 1992 after promising Russia that NATO wouldn’t expand into Eastern Europe. NATO did exactly that, they expanded into Eastern Europe. The Russians are having their own “Cuban Missile Crisis” that JFK had in the early 60s, but with Ukraine.

I’ve been confused all along as to what the proper conservative view of Ukraine is.

Some say this war does not affect America directly , and as such, we have no stake in the outcome and shouldn’t be supporting Ukraine.

Other say Putin is like Hitler, and he’s going to invade country after country if he is not stopped.

Generally liberals seem to be all in favor of aiding Ukraine, but because liberals do , does that mean that as conservatives we should oppose aid to Ukraine?

Average Americans will be better off when the Russians finally kick the Democrats and the Deep-state out of their Ukraine corruption rat-hole.

The 2014 Maidan coup simply flipped a sad and divided Ukraine from rule by corrupt Russian oligarchs, to corrupt American oligarchs. Every major DC political and anti-Trump scandal since then has roots in that black hole.

I mean to say that ignoring Russian aggression has been the official position of the USA for about 90% of the existence of our country

Exactly. It has nothing to do with reelecting Biden either.

Also, I notice that Trump himself has been very cagey on whether he’d support Ukraine militarily. So I’m not sure why people running on trumps coattails would be anti-Ukraine.

When has supporting the Ukraine been a conservative virtue? Johnson passed Biden’s bill and gave the House to the rats and sheep like yourself are fine with it.
