There isn’t a brake baked into this weapon. It’s what wiped out the Neanderthals. It’ll take miracles of science to avert extinction, and I wish I wasn’t such a blackpill dispenser, but this IS the fate staring us in the face. It’s a literal fucking Great Filter. A species killer.

Disturbingly, there is a precedent for what happens when a population of people accept as a custom some practice that includes invasion of their bodies’ cells with a neurodegenerative prion disruptor. Self-toxicity, auto-immunity, encephalitis, organ failure, and sterility are the result. Some researcher now believe that this is what sealed the fates of the population of ancient humans known as Neanderthals; that their social acceptance of the practice of cannibalism (like the social acceptance of lining up for the injection to feel virtuous among peers today) led to the mass-poisoning of their population and caused their extinction. Summary

The Neanderthals were a Eurasian human species of the genus Homo that disappeared approximately 30,000 years ago. The cause or causes of their extinction continues to intrigue specialists and non-specialists alike. Here a contributory role for Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) is suggested. TSEs could have infected Neanderthal groups as a result of general cannibalistic activity and brain tissue consumption in particular. Further infection could then have taken place through continued cannibalistic activity or via shared used of infected stone tools. A modern human hunter-gatherer proxy has been developed and applied as a hypothetical model to the Neanderthals. This hypothesis suggests that the impact of TSEs on the Neanderthals could have been dramatic and have played a large part in contributing to the processes of Neanderthal extinction.

-—millions have died-—species killer? Yup. It seems like there is always at least one. My favorite old school history book is HG Well’s Outline of History. He lists pretty much every known civilization going back, oh, say 12,000 years, or so. And they’ve pretty much all pizzed themselves away. Just pick a few: Aztecs, Mayas, Egyptians, Sumerians-—there are hundreds that have built complex societies then, boom, gone. The causes seem to vary but the result is always the same. Their own excesses do them in.

In my view we’ve hit our peak and cell phones are going to be the nail in our coffin. I have never seen so many gullible, useless, non-productive, absolutely clueless people anyplace. And I don’t even have to look to find them.
