...National Guard members who are Space Force Guardians are being moved to Space Force, or so it is proposed. The Governor I read about (no link, sorry) was angry and elevating the issue to the public because National Guard is not traditionally 'claimed' by a military branch without permission of the Govenor. That change is to take place in 2025 (Trump's term?).
Perhaps there are governors who can't be trusted. I can think of at least 3 governors at or near the West Coast who would fit this description.
