This Charlotte mess sounds way too much like Ruby Ridge. Nothing about the published warrant requires storming a house with force. US Marshalls are involved. Some of the officers were desk riders, note Line duty types. They know they guy is armed to the teeth but they waddle up in broad daylight yelling something like “yoohoo.”
They couldn’t wait for the guy to go to the library? He and his bud were waiting for them. All in all, a nice ambush. If the whole deal was that dam urgent how come an armored vehicle didn’t show up until they had to retrieve a wounded guy. And it has the stink of Waco on it also. Just had to bust the guy while he was mumbling at Mecca?
Some of the stink here comes right out of the White Hut. Somebody needed to make a big show crime bust-—you know: guns off the street, bad guy roundup, law and order stuff? This is even worse than Fast and Furriest?
