Just padded my stash with another 3-pack of Duramectin from Amazon. I’ve noticed a curious thing in recent weeks: If one searches for “Ivermectin” the results might be kind of skippy. But searching by brand name turns up plenty of stuff. The brands I’ve bought over the past year or so are Duramectin, Bimectin, Equimax, as well as Ivermectin. Most seem to be made in Canada with US distributors but that’s not a “rule.” The above are exactly the same. 1.87%
We have bought the Iverheal brand from India.
My previous order was boxed as simply Ivermectin from Med-Pharmex, distributed by Valley Vet.
When I searched ValleyVet site by product number, it took me to the Duramectin.
Product description says product may vary from producers, but the primary ingredient is the same.
We're all just animals anyway, and I would trust the vet people now, more than Big Pharma or the regular medical professions.
I got the first batch in July 2023, started with 1 dose per 28 days, using the 250-lb measure. I'm at 225-lb. I wanted to evaluate results as I worked into a good regimen.
After a few months, I went to bi-weekly, same measure.
Beginning of this April, I went to weekly, same measure.
This seems to be optimum for now.
Just had my annual exam last Friday; told the doc what I'm taking, and he said he would check the lab results for kidney and liver warnings. Everything is okay.
I also have Fenbendazole which I take daily.
