NEW: Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger says that Wikipedia has been ideologically corrupted, raises the possibility that Katherine Maher collaborated with U.S. intelligence, and says that, if NPR were committed to truth, it would fire her "right away."

@realchrisrufo | Katherine Maher says that she abandoned a "free and open" internet as the mission of Wikipedia, because those principles recapitulated a "white male Westernized construct"
NPR's Katherine Maher: "the number one challenge" in her fight against disinformation is "the First Amendment in the United States," which makes it "a little bit tricky" to censor "bad information"
What a joke - its without a doubt she is a CIA/Deep-state Candidate.
Her resume has been a tour of every deep-state-controlled organization that exits - the WEF, State Department, Council on Foreign Relations, Atlantic Council
Wikipedia is only useful for finding the square miles of Brazil, or a list of all the albums released by Lynyrd Skynyrd....
But nothing even remotely political.
ftr Soros has had the most protected page on the site for a very long time.
The site mimics his agenda very well.
I’m having a hard time thinking of something where his agendas is at odds with the above to see which side wiki takes on it.
Wikipedia has always been ideologically corrupted.
Yep. Just like AI.
Yep, dry apolitical factual information only.
Seems like a demotion.
Wikipedia is much more important to control than NPR.
Who listens to NPR now ? Even masochistic Progressives grow tired of the constant tirades, and would rather just hear the music.
I use wikipedia a lot. But mostly for engineering stuff if the lecture or textbook wasn’t clear.
Maybe they track looking up obscure figures of the far right. Browsing Jonathan Bowden, or Julius Evola ? - Seize him as a dangerous White Supremacist !
Wikipedia is a joke for the most part. Definitely biased.
Absolutely. Anyone who gets more than the cast of a movie or the date of an event from Wikipedia and believes it is a dummy.
“White male westernized construct”
As if that’s a bad thing? What does she prefer, and where has that been as successful?
