In the mid 70s, I used to stop in at Taco Bell after I got off work, on my way to a friend (who had a TRS-80 computer!)
I would get two bean burritos with green sauce instead of red sauce, and extra onions, and a meximelt, all for less than a buck.
These days that same meal now costs over $10.00.
Of course, I could get gas for less than a buck a gallon back then as well.
Crunchy Taco was 33 cents in 1978 in my area
If you can get a time machine I need to go back - avoid a few things
Thanks in advance - literally
sorta
You got gas both places.
