Well I have to say all the men are nicely dressed. I like Bill’s bow tie. I don’t think Hillary’s outfit is bad, it’s nice but I wonder if it’s an insult to the Japanese Prime minister because Kimonos gives the impression we American’s image of the Japanese like in the 1900s or something. A view of Japan as a Madame Butterfly kind of thing.

By and large, that is good policy. But sometimes, clothes choices make such a flagrant statement that it is obvious the wearer doesn't want them to be ignored; in fact, it is impossible.
