[Tell It Right]

In Genesis 15 God told Abraham that his descendants will be in bondage 400 years then will come out and take over the land of the Amorites. Why was God going to wait 400 years? Verse 16 says "for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure". (Tip: Amorites = Canaanites because the Amorites were the dominant group in Canaan).

If you read the book of Joshua it seems pretty harsh to the Canaanites. But in light of Genesis 15, God was patient, giving them 4 centuries (on top of the 2 prior centuries God had already waited if you study the history of the Amorites). God hoped they would quit their baby killing, sexual immoral ways.

How long is God going to be patient with America's baby killing, sexual immoral ways?
