Just the say-so of my South African expat friend back in 2013 in Atlanta. Wouldn’t surprise me though. They have a militaristic culture and history.

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised. There was a push of sorts by Muslims in my part to convince locals to come to their "church" after the October 7 Massacre. At that time were telling anyone that they themselves were Muslim, as if trying to start up a conversation of sorts.

While the male population was clean shaven in earlier years, lots of locals are wearing beards now. It is all somewhat concerning.

Recalling something a few years earlier, I had chatted with a local soldier who informed me that Muslims don't have divorce. He could not be convinced of their actual law of triple talaq, so they must have been working on the native military in previous years.
