No doubt.

But if you were a juror and the idea that the L.A.P.D. routinely planted evidence to secure convictions, would you have sure, beyond a reasonable doubt that Fuhrman really did find the gloves when he jumped the fence ‘in order to warn O.J. that he, O.J. might be the target of a murderer’?

I remember being outraged at the verdict and the fact that my black students cheered. But after the L.A.P.D. scandal broke a few years later, I can kind of understand why the jury could claim there was a reasonable doubt.
