You're driving along, minding your own business, and happen to turn into a bunch of Black Lives Matter rioters who think you're trying to disrupt their "mostly peaceful" protest, so they surround your car and try to drag you out and beat you to death. This law would make it so you wouldn't have to surrender to the mob and get yourself killed.

Sounds like a trip to LA. First I will need to reinforce my bumper. Maybe put a cow catcher on it like an old steam train engine.

We hear a lot about ambulances that didn’t make it to the hospital in time because of these azhos. We need to put snow plows on the front of all “first responder” vehicles. ESPECIALLY, AMBULANCES. Push the trash out of the way.

This Louisiana self-defense law makes sense. But don’t forget the federal angle. The Feds can always swoop in, and charge you with a bogus civil rights violation.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. But hit the wrong rioter and you just might hear from the folks in far-away DC. That’s how messed up this country is right now.

I hear you, and you speak reality. But another part of it is where all worse off as a country if the good guys sit back and do nothing.

Maybe I need to invest in dashcams in Louisiana.

Thank God there are still pockets of sanity left in this country.

Alright! And a trip to Louisiana would also include some gumbo, dirty rice, and jambalaya.

Meh, they can’t charge us all with civil rights violations. There’s lots of us, and we have lots of cars.

Sanity still rules in Louisiana.

True, but at least the trial won’t be in a DC kangaroo court.

Exactly why States need to claw back their power and rights usurped by fedzilla.
Feds should have absolutely no power inside The State’s boarders.

Next step is “Driver Education”. To put it in mathematical terms:
If BLM > 0, then (Foot + Gas Pedal)=(Live Another Day)

The burden of proof however may be very high, so IF one is ever threatened and in fear of their lives, may God forbid, and decides to drive through the crowd, make, sure you and passengers if applicable record everything from different angles.
