Maybe I should have said “fast food?”
But are people eating more fast food than previous ages? Obesity and diabetes rates have been going up since at least 1980.

Fake food. Fake maple syrup made from corn syrup and starch and red dye. Ketchup made from corn syrup and starch and red dye. Hamburger made from real meat, but corn fed instead of grass fed and flavored with MSG. Salt mixed with aluminum for some unknown reason, it’s not like salt is hard to find and mine. Cheese that is not actually cheese just yellow dyed slices of flavored silicones, plastics and some milk powder pressed into slices. Lack of vegetables and fruits. You can get a meal at a fast food joint, but it almost never comes with a side of broccoli or asparagus and a banana.
Thankfully we have the USDA and FDA to protect us.
